Focus: Natural History, forest ecology
Description: Join retired forest ecologist and one of the most popular guides in the region, Dr. Tom Atzet, for an easy walk to a waterfall in a charming forested natural area in Ashland off Tolman Creek Road.
Oredson-Todd Woods is a conserved, city-owned, dog-friendly park on the south edge of Ashland next to the Siskiyou Mountain Park. The forested canyon and beautiful waterfall along Clay Creek provide a wonderful natural area immediately outside town. These two parks contain almost 10 miles of public trails which connect to a larger trail system on the slopes above Ashland.

Meeting Location: Oredson-Todd Woods Trailhead. Exact location and directions will be emailed upon registration.
Difficulty: Easy; no restrooms are available; the trails are wide and well-maintained but can be uneven including rock stream crossings.
