Last month, SOLC co-hosted a workshop led by the Vesper Meadow Education Program to help non-Native-led environmental and conservation organizations begin to cultivate thoughtful, respectful, and reciprocal partnerships with Tribes and community members with Tribal heritage. About 50 representatives from organizations and agencies throughout the Rogue Valley gathered to learn about this crucial component of developing equitable, accessible, and just land-based practices. We look forward to participating in an ongoing learning cohort with these organizations, guided by Vesper Meadow!
