This fall a group of students from Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at Southern Oregon University learned about Exploring and Conserving Wild Ashland through field experiences at Pompadour Bluff and the Oredson-Todd Woods.
On the first day of class, OLLI students hiked to the top of Pompadour Bluff and removed invasive species and trail hazards on the way! The second day students reconnoitered at the Oredson-Todd Woods to learn about trail maintenance on this publicly accessible conserved lands. OLLI organizers said this was a first-of-its-kind class at OLLI and we were so happy to be a part of it!
