Thank you for a glorious day of strolling through the meadow and gathering with friends!
On Saturday July 8, SOLC honored our Landmark, Legacy and Life members at the newly conserved Vesper Meadow and Buck Prairie along Latgawa Creek. Thanks to our hosts, Cory Ross and Greg Conaway, new Board of Director’s President Dan Thorndike, caterer Maren Faye, Land Steward Rebekah Bergkoetter, and other SOLC staff, for helping create a wonderful event. The day was a perfect combination of blue, sunny skies and cool temperatures. Participants toured the sweeping meadows and forests, reviewed stream restoration efforts, and shared lunch and conversation with friends. Thank you to all who were able to join us on this picture-perfect outing.
