Thank you for an amazing evening of food, friends, and fundraising!
On Saturday May 13, we held our 2023 Conservation Celebration at the Ashland Hills Hotel and Suites. Thanks to our guests, volunteers, event sponsors, and auction donors, we exceeded our goal to “Conserve Today, Ensure Tomorrow” and raised approximately $90,000 for conservation in the Rogue River region! We are so very grateful to everyone for making it an amazing night.
We had a wonderful time catching up with long-time supporters as well as welcoming new members and friends. The highlight of the night’s festivities was hearing from Tara Laidlaw, our beloved Education Program Manager. Tara showed us a vibrantly active education program that has grown into a vehicle for youth and adults to fall in love with and appreciate the beauty of nature and the lands that surround us. She challenged us to share with everyone we encounter the love and appreciation we have for nature too.
It is in response to this challenge that we are launching the “Eye On Nature” Program! Our goal is to provide 1,000 hand lenses to youth in our education programs that they can take home, free of charge, to practice looking closely at the natural world around them. Help us kickstart this program by sponsoring 5 hand lenses for only $25!
To add to the fun, for every 5 lenses sponsored, (Only $25) you will receive one entry into a drawing to win the beautifully framed “Winter Light” photo from our featured artist, Matt Witt. (Photo 12x18, frame 16x24).
