At this year’s Landmark Member outing, guests enjoyed tours of a special conserved property, the Vesper Meadow Preserve on the Howard Prairie Plateau. Members enjoyed staggered, small-group self-guided tours throughout the day. With interpretive hike materials in hand, everyone explored two half-mile loop trails to discover some of the magic of the Vesper Meadow Preserve.
Big thanks to landowners, Cory Ross and Greg Conaway, for hosting and sharing their story of the land. Land Manager and Vesper Meadow Education Program creator Jeanine Moy, helped make this event a success. Thank you to our terrific volunteers for making the day extra special. We also thank the locally owned and operated businesses that donated items for goody bags including Noble Coffee, Northwest Nature Shop, Siskiyou Chapter of the Native Plant Society of Oregon, Banyan Botanicals, and Inesscents Botanical Aromatics.
