Snowshoe Hike: Old Siskiyou Sheep Trail

Description: Explore a beautiful, privately conserved property with naturalist and SOLC Stewardship Director, Kristi Mergenthaler, near the Siskiyou summit off the Mt Ashland Road by snowshoe. Learn about winter ecology while exploring montane meadow and forest.

Limit: 10

Meeting Location: Meet in Ashland near downtown to carpool to the site. Exact meeting location and directions will be emailed upon registration.

Difficulty: The hike will be up to three miles and include moderate slopes. This will be a laid-back exploration, not a strenuous hike, but note that snowshoeing is more difficult than walking. No bathroom facilities on site.
