NATURE TALK: Get No Respect

Increase your bioregional IQ during our spring virtual event entitled “Get No Respect." Pour yourself a favorite beverage and join us in exploring the ecology of Southern Oregon with a variety of speakers. Inspired by the comedian Rodney Dangerfield's tagline, we'll highlight plants and animals that do not receive much respect such as chaparral communities, poison-oak, oak mistletoe, western rattlesnakes, snags & dead wood, and Turkey Vultures. Everyone will leave with new knowledge and respect for lesser-known and underappreciated species.

This virtual event is being offered free of charge online via Zoom. Please register for this event in order to receive login information and any updates. Then grab a can of beer or prune juice and cozy up for a night of lots of respect.
