Choice of activities:
Guided hikes and activities: raptor viewing, butterfly exploration, botany walk, land stewardship and more. Groups will be divvied up at the event.
Storytelling by Tish McFadden and Thomas Doty
If participating in the guided hikes around the preserve is not for you and you’d rather relax near the river listening to native stories of the Rogue River, have we got a treat for you! Thomas Doty will share a sense of history, culture and place while Tish McFadden will read excerpts and sing songs from her book “Upriver to Morning” that is based on the teachings of local Native American spiritual elder Agnes Emma Baker Pilgrim. Limited to 50 participates. Signup when you register for event.
