Cathedral Hills Ecology Hike

REGISTRATION will open on May 9th at 6am.

Join forest ecologist and one of the most popular guides in the region, Dr. Tom Atzet, for a hike on the trails at The Cathedral Hills located just outside the City of Grants Pass. The Hills were formed 150 million years ago, with a land use history dating back to the middle of the last century.

The Bureau of Land Management, which owns and manages this natural area, describes the park as "a haven for hiking, mountain biking, and horseback riding enthusiasts. It includes many loop trails and natural areas among its 400 acres of Douglas-fir and ponderosa pine forest. Spring is a popular time to visit because of the weather and abundant wildflowers. The unique and treasured recreation area of Cathedral Hills can be enjoyed year round.”
