Local photographer and naturalist, Mike Potts, will lead folks around the Rogue River Preserve to find, identify and learn about wild mushroom species that inhabit the Preserve. This is not a foraging outing but rather an opportunity to learn about mushrooms while exploring this beautiful piece of land along the Rogue River. It’s also a chance to help us expand our mushroom list.
In 2017, Southern Oregon Land Conservancy purchased this iconic 352-acre parcel along the Rogue River. For more information on the conservation of this special land go to our Heart of the Rogue webpage.
