Hike the Oredson-Todd Woods

Vern Crawford hikes the Oredson-Todd Woods nearly every day and has done so for more than 25 years.  As a naturalist, he has a keen understanding of the natural system that created and sustains the Oredson-Todd Woods.  He is also a very nice person and great hike leader. Please join him for a pleasant 2-hour tour of the Woods.

Description: Join local naturalist Vern Crawford on a hike in the Oredson-Todd Woods in Ashland.  Vern will share his extensive knowledge of local geology and how this affects the variety of plants and animals that inhabit this popular hiking spot.  May is a great time to hike and see the forest really come alive in Spring.

Meet Vern at the Oredson-Todd Woods Trailhead on Lupine St at 2:00pm.

Directions from Ashland:
Travel south on Siskiyou Boulevard to Tolman Creek Road.  Take a right up Tolman Creek and travel just over a mile to Greenmeadows.  Take a right on Greenmeadows and travel about a quarter-mile to Lupine.  Take a left on Lupine and look for a parking spot.  The trailhead will be on your immediate right.
